OPEN WATER DIVER

Our main class offered is a Weekend Class (Home Study) once a month, which consists of one Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. (times subject to change - call or come by to verify); then a checkout weekend at either Bluewater Park, Pelham, Alabama or Vortex Springs, Florida.

Homestudy requires approximately 6-8 hours of your time, and includes reading Chapter 1 in manual, watching Chapter 1 on video and filling out workbook at end of Chapter 1 in manual - there are six chapters total.

Equipment needed for Open Water class:

Basic snorkeling equipment - Mask, Fins, Boots, Weight Belt, Weights, Snorkel

With purchase of your snorkeling equipment, you receive free use of the scuba equipment through certification (wetsuit, regulator set and BCD).

With purchase of all your equipment - Mask, Fins, Boots, Weight Belt, Weights, Snorkel, Regulator Set, Wetsuit and BCD - you receive FREE LESSONS! You have up to 1 year to take advantage of this great program!
